The development of soccer players is a long process in which players process gradually from a simple to a more complex involvement in the game. This progression requires proper guidance and direction from quality knowledgeable and experienced coaches. This progress cannot be rushed, however players should compete at a level that is challenging and demanding. Lanco Premier believes elements essential for proper player development includes a competitive training enviornmonet, quality coaching, competitive matches, proper equipment and facilities, and proper player identification system.
There is no guarantee that a player will reach his or her potential, although, at the least, we must give him or her the opportunity to reach their maximum potential development.
Soccer is an art, not a science, and the same should be played attractively as well as effectively. It needs to be artistic with purpose. Soccer is a game of skill, imagination, creativity and decision-making. Lanco Premier needs to enhance these elements.
There is no magic formula to the successful development. We are about working with players to improve performance, not about recruiting players to build teams to win championships. Soccer is a player's game and players should be considered first when political, administrative and coaching decisions are being made.
It is important to understand the components of modern soccer and how to apply them through a consistant methodology that allows the teaching of technique and tactics while incorporating phystical and psychological aspects. This is best accomplished through the application of economical training.
