Simple Agility Ladder Exercises

Check out these video clips for use with your team.

The videos below contain some simple exercises that can be used with either agility ladders or cones when warming up your team.  They can also be inserted into other training activities that require players to rotate from spot to spot by putting a ladder down between the relevant spots. 

When working with your team, remember:

  • Form before speed
  • Players should not be fatigued when they do these exercises
  • The benefits will be real, but it will take time to see them.

Pick 2 or 3 of these and have the players do each that you choose two times both forward and backward (or twice to each side if lateral movement is involved).
